“Turning the Tide” explains how the climate movement is helping the international development banks to say goodbye to funding fossil fuel projects. We helped the Bankwatchers with pan-European copyright and strategy aspects around the documentary.
Edson is proud to assist CEE Bankwatch Network, the largest network of grassroots, environmental and human rights groups in central and eastern Europe. Bankwatch monitors public finance institutions together with local communities and other NGOs. Bankwatch works to expose the finance institutions’ influence and to provide a counterbalance to their power.

Chambers “Gaming Law 2021” Global Practice Guide.
Edson partners Pieter Paepe and Christoph De Preter have been asked by the renowned lawyer guide Chambers to write the Chambers “Gaming Law 2021” Global Practice Guide. The guide is now online and can be consulted here.
The guide covers 32 jurisdictions and provides latest legal information on land-based and online games of chance (including wagering and lotteries). Topics covered in “Gaming Law 2021” include B2C and B2B licences; application requirements; affiliates; white labels; responsible gambling; AML legislation; restrictions on advertising; acquisitions and changes of control; trends in social gaming, esports, fantasy sports and blockchain; and taxation.
