We Are EDSON.
An Iconic Player.
We took inspiration from Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Known to all under the nickname Pelé, he is arguably the most iconic player in the history of football.
Revolutionizing Not Just The Game.
Pelé revolutionized the football game itself by his speed, agility, impeccable technique and tactical insight. More importantly, he embedded his actions in the wider course of society, becoming an emblem for social mobility, race equality and ambassadorship for good causes.
The Law is Our Game.
Pelé’s game is football. Our game is the rule of law. We aspire to excel in the strategic advice and litigation support we offer. EDSON wants to take new innovative approaches to take the game to the next level. Pelé made a difference on the pitch, but also in the wider society. In the same way, EDSON supports its clients not only to succeed in the legal arena – but in a much broader context.

Team and Family First.
EDSON puts Team and Family First. This may seem strange at first glance. But when you think about it a little longer, it’s very logical. Staff welfare and loyalty have an immediate impact on the quality of a firm’s work products, and allow us to recruit best-in-class individuals that deliver on time, within budget and above standards. In the end, by caring for each other, we care for our clients.
Diversity.
We started EDSON with a clear goal – to become a diverse and inclusive firm that reflects the richness of Belgium’s and Europe’s cultures, our personal choices and our beliefs. We realize this is a journey. Each of us has a background – EDSON’s founding team has theirs. We are actively looking for people that can enrich that background with more diversity. While some markets and jurisdictions are stepping back from diversity and inclusion, we believe turning away from it is a step backwards; for us, diversity is not a passing trend but a foundation for stronger ideas, fairer outcomes, and lasting growth.
